2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R Technical Issue

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R Technical Issue. kawasaki company re-notify the consumer in America, that the Kawasaki ZX-10R has been revised, as this news I took from www.motorcycle.com. However, Kawasaki’s high note just got lowered an octave after a “technical hold” announcement that forces 10Rs already shipped and/or delivered to be returned to Kawasaki.

Kawasaki tells Motorcycle.com there is some sort of issue with the ZX-10R, affecting not just American bikes, but it doesn’t yet know exactly what the issue is. It should be noted that a “tech hold” is not to be confused with a recall.

Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. is placing a technical hold on the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R sportbike,” reads the press release. “The company is proactively addressing a remedy which reflects Kawasaki’s commitment to excellence and its relationships with its highly valued customers and dealer network.”

Kawasaki adds that those who have taken delivery of a unit will be instructed to return the unit to the dealership for a full refund, and these consumers will be among the first to have the option of receiving a new unit once the technical hold has been lifted. As of this writing, less than 20 ZXs have made their way into the hands of American consumers.

Unsold units will be returned to KMC warehouses. They will be redistributed “once Kawasaki is 100% confident they reflect company standards for this highly technical, race-bred machine.”
